DESCRIPTION:Join HIA Hospice for a free\, virtual Lunch & Learn session on Tuesday\, November 10\, from 12 to 1 p.m. Dr. Mark Rostad\, HIA Hospice Medical Director\, will present “Palliative Care vs. Hospice: Siblings\, Not Twins.” \nDuring the session\, attendees will: \n\nUnderstand the differences between Palliative Care and Hospice.\nIdentify when to consult Palliative Care to assist with a patient or client.\nKnow the difference between a symptom and a disease.\nLearn the critical aspects of a goals-of-care discussion.\n\nRegistration: \nRegistration is required to attend. Please click here to register for the Lunch & Learn. \nCEU Credit: \nHIA Hospice is an approved provider of continuing education for social workers in North Dakota and Minnesota.
