DESCRIPTION:  \nThe 11th annual Tree Walk for HIA Hospice will be held on November 29th from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Eagles Club #2368\, located at 305 Red Lake Boulevard in Thief River Falls\, Minnesota. \nJoin us for an event featuring beautifully decorated trees\, food and a variety of activities throughout the day! See the schedule of events below. \nProceeds from the event will benefit HIA Hospice\, in memory of loved ones who have received hospice care. \nIndividuals\, groups\, businesses and organizations can be a sponsor and decorate a tree or participate by decorating and providing a wreath or a gift basket for the silent auction. In return for your sponsorship\, your company name and logo will be recognized at the event. \nEvent attendees can vote for their favorite tree by placing donations in buckets at each tree. A plaque will be awarded to the organization whose tree receives the most donations. \nThere are several options available for tree sponsorship. For more information\, please contact Laurie Harger at (218) 686-3696 or email laurie.harger@gmail.com. \nSchedule of Events \n9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tree Walk – View decorated trees and vote on your favorite. In fact\, Give to the Max was one of the nation’s first online giving days and now serves as a national model for giving days across the country. In the years since\, nearly one million donors have given more than $355 million to 14\,000 nonprofits and schools as part of Minnesota’s giving holiday. \nThis Give to the Max Day\, your gift brings comfort and support to familieslike Lloyd and Linda Stoll of Glyndon\, MN. When Linda’s illness progressed\, hospice care allowed her to stay home while giving Lloyd the support he needed to care for her. DESCRIPTION:Choice Bank invites the community to Heroes for Hospice on Wednesday\, June 18\, 2025\, from 11:00am – 1:00pm! For a suggested donation of $10\, attendees will enjoy lunch provided by Marco’s Pizza and Red Pepper. There will be music\, games and local community heroes in attendance\, including fire and police departments\, healthcare workers and members of the armed forces. \nThe Heroes for Hospice fundraiser provides funding for HIA Hospice to offer end-of-life care for terminally ill patients and support for their families. As a local nonprofit\, independent\, community-based organization\, HIA Hospice provides care to anyone who meets the medical guidelines for hospice care\, regardless of insurance coverage or ability to pay.
