Expansion reflects commitment to providing the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
HIA Health announces a major expansion of its services, including the rebranding of HIA House Calls to HIA Primary Care, the opening of a new clinic in Fargo, N.D., and the addition of two new physicians to its care team. These updates reflect HIA Health’s continued growth and commitment to delivering comprehensive, relationship-based care both in the home and in clinical settings. Together, these changes are designed to expand access and better serve patients across every stage of life.
Beginning May 4, 2026, HIA House Calls will officially be renamed HIA Primary Care, and its palliative services will be known as HIA Palliative. The new names reflect the full scope of care HIA Health delivers—both in patients’ homes and in clinical settings—and underscore the organization’s ongoing commitment to personalized, relationship-based primary care.
The HIA Primary Care Clinic, located on the HIA Health campus in South Fargo at 3800 56th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58104, began serving patients on April 20, 2026. The clinic is focused on long-term relations and whole-person wellness and provides comprehensive services including preventive care and chronic condition management with the goal of simplifying the healthcare experience.
HIA Health is expanding its clinical leadership team with the appointment of two highly respected physicians. Dr. Kinsey Nelson, Medical Director of the HIA Primary Care Clinic, and Dr. Lara Lunde, Medical Director of HIA Primary Care at Home, will oversee and lead clinical operations across both in-clinic and home-based care services.

“Clinics play an essential role in care, but they aren’t accessible to everyone,” said Dr. Lunde. “For patients who face mobility, transportation or health challenges, a building can become a barrier. Our responsibility is to remove those barriers by bringing high quality care directly to them in their homes.”
Dr. Nelson explains “At HIA Health, we have the unique ability to care for patients across the full spectrum of life—from preventive and primary care to palliative and hospice services. This continuity allows us to support patients through routine care, complex and chronic conditions, and life-limiting illness, all while focusing on quality of life and honoring each person’s individual journey.”
All other aspects of care will remain unchanged, including HIA Health’s commitment to meeting patients wherever they feel most comfortable—whether at home or in a clinical setting. Patients can expect uninterrupted care, consistent support and continued strong relationships with their care teams.
“These changes reflect how we’ve grown to meet the evolving needs of our patients,” said Tracee Capron, HIA Health Executive Director. “While our name and leadership structure are evolving, our mission remains the same: to provide compassionate, high-quality care centered on each individual.”
