Join HIA Hospice for a free, virtual Lunch & Learn session on Tuesday, November 10, from 12 to 1 p.m. Dr. Mark Rostad, HIA Hospice Medical Director, will present “Palliative Care vs. Hospice: Siblings, Not Twins.”

During the session, attendees will:

  • Understand the differences between Palliative Care and Hospice.
  • Identify when to consult Palliative Care to assist with a patient or client.
  • Know the difference between a symptom and a disease.
  • Learn the critical aspects of a goals-of-care discussion.

CEU Credit:

HIA Hospice is an approved provider of continuing education for social workers in North Dakota and Minnesota. This program will be awarded one Social Work CEU credit.

HIA Hospice holds Lunch & Learn events in January, March, May, July, September, and November on the second Tuesday of the month from 12 – 1 p.m. These events explore topics related to end-of-life care and are free and open to the public.
