March 2026 Lunch & Learn – Compassionate Care at the End of Life: Addressing Pain, Addiction and Humanity

Join HIA Hospice for a virtual Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, March 10, from 12 to 1 p.m. Victoria Anderson, MSW, LICSW, LADC, LCSW, LAC, SAP, owner of Rooted Counseling will present Compassionate Care at the End of Life: Addressing Pain, Addiction, and Humanity.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
• Manage Pain Wisely – Learn ways to provide relief while considering a patient’s history with addiction.
• See the Whole Person – Keep dignity and humanity at the center of care.
• Use Practical Tools – Take away simple strategies for real-world hospice situations.
