
November 2026 Lunch & Learn – Palliative Care vs. Hospice: Siblings, Not Twins

Join HIA Hospice for a free, virtual Lunch & Learn session on Tuesday, November 10, from 12 to 1 p.m. Dr. Mark Rostad, HIA Hospice Medical Director, will present “Palliative Care vs. Hospice: Siblings, Not Twins.”
During the session, attendees will:
- Understand the differences between Palliative Care and Hospice.
- Identify when to consult Palliative Care to assist with a patient or client.
- Know the difference between a symptom and a disease.
- Learn the critical aspects of a goals-of-care discussion.

HIA Hospice is an approved provider of continuing education for social workers in North Dakota and Minnesota. This program will be awarded one Social Work CEU credit.
