Fargo, N.D. (November 4, 2025) – Members of the local chapter of the Quilts of Valor Foundation joined together on Thursday, October 23rd to honour the Veteran Volunteers of HIA Hospice for their military service and ongoing volunteer work. This gathering celebrated the men and women who not only served our nation but now serve others through compassionate volunteering.
The ceremony marked a meaningful moment of recognition: Veteran Volunteers at HIA Hospice were presented with handmade Quilts of Valor®, each crafted to convey a deep and sincere “thank you” for service and sacrifice. These quilts are awarded (not gifted), recorded, label-tagged and sized per the organization’s standards.
This event aligns with HIA Hospice’s enduring mission to provide personalized comfort and holistic support to patients and families in life’s most challenging moments.
